Senior SEO Executive

We’re seeking an experienced **Senior SEO Executive** to lead and deliver advanced SEO strategies across a range of clients and industries. This role is ideal for an SEO professional who has already built a solid foundation of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO experience and is ready to take on more responsibility, autonomy, and client ownership.

You’ll be trusted to develop strategies, manage campaigns end-to-end, and act as a go-to SEO expert within the team. With opportunities to mentor junior colleagues and shape best practice, this is a fantastic next step for someone who wants to grow into a leadership position in digital marketing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the development and execution of SEO strategies to drive measurable organic growth
- Carry out advanced technical SEO audits and oversee implementation with internal teams and external partners
- Manage and optimise large-scale keyword research, site architecture, and content strategies
- Plan and deliver link-building and digital PR campaigns that build authority and visibility
- Analyse website and campaign performance, providing actionable insights to clients and stakeholders
- Report results clearly, tying SEO activity back to business impact and ROI
- Keep ahead of algorithm updates, industry shifts, and emerging SEO tools/technologies
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level SEO executives, sharing expertise and guiding their development
- Contribute to a wider digital marketing strategy and cross-team collaboration

**About You**
- 3-5+ years’ proven SEO experience, ideally in an agency or multi-industry environment
- Strong expertise across technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts/projects at once, with a proven track record of delivering results
- Excellent knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Search Console, Data Studio, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to confidently speak with clients and stakeholders
- Organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively

**Bonus points for**:

- Experience leading client accounts or managing direct relationships
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with CRO, paid media, or content marketing strategies
- Prior mentoring or team leadership experience

**Core Benefits**
- Competitive salary (£35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience)

**Important Information**
- 37.5 hours per week, Mon to Fri 9:00am - 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and live within commuting distance of our Wallasey-based office

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
