**About this role**

**You'll have the following responsibilities**
- Deal with complex current and potential issues and possession of high level analysis commercial/ diagnostic skills. Need to work pro-actively to resolve problems.
- Understands and/or involved in wider issues and processes impacting on own and other business areas.
- Good written and verbal skills, team leader and motivating skills may be required
- May require presentation complex data to senior managers.
- Able to communicate effectively
- Involves a high level of personal discretion in ownership and resolution of issues.
- System level maintenance and equipment swap out;
- Test and development, system line-ups etc;
- Traffic transfers between antennas & associated systems;
- Antenna repoints and system set-up to support bookings (often last minute);
- Maintenance of software systems such as GMACS and Newpoint (Remote Control & Monitoring systems), Satmanage, Carrier Monitoring and Service Now (as it is implemented).

**You'll have the following skills & experience**

Knowledge of Satcom hardware and software systems.

Willingness to work on 2 in 4 rota (0700-1430, 1430-2300, Mon-Sat inclusive).

BTEC and/or significant relevant work experience. Accreditation from suppliers may be applicable.

Ability to carry out self-development

Ability to work independently but also contribute within the team environment

Good communicator - clear and timely communications to peers, management, clients and customers
