**Head of Retail (Southern Division) - Regional-based**

We are a team with purpose, we believe no one should live with untreated hearing loss and we are passionate about restoring people’s worlds.- We are currently hiring for the position of Head of Retail for the Southern region (which includes central London, the Home Counties, Oxfordshire and the South West/East). Reporting to the Director of Retail, this position is a key leadership role within the UK, accountable for the performance of multiple sites, a team of up to 250 people and with responsibility for delivery of the company sales budgets.- We are looking for an inspirational and commercially-driven professional with drive and influence to achieve business plans and targets through people development, engagement and leadership.**As Head of Retail (South), your role will entail**:

- The management and accountability of the retail performance of the Southern Region, providing support, coaching and guidance to regional hearingcare managers to maximise performance and opportunities within their teams to deliver the highest brand, clinical and customer service standards across multiple sites;
- Building and managing relationships with your teams: driving and influencing both engagement, motivation and operational excellence;
- Building relationships with key external stakeholders (Sonova, Boots UK, Boots Opticians) and cross-functional internal colleagues and identifying new opportunities to ensure business growth, leadership and functional capability;
- Succession and workforce planning: identifying and developing individuals with potential for growth;
- Management of budgets, cost controls and retail performance. Producing, interpreting and forecasting periodic status reports and analysis for key stakeholders and Directors;
- Participation in and leadership of key retail initiatives and projects.

**As Head of Retail (South), you should have**:

- A proven track-record in multi-site retail management with substantial turnover;
- Considerable experience in people management and the leadership of large teams (including coaching, development, performance management) and ability to deliver results through a highly-engaged team of hearing care managers reporting into you directly;
- A proven track-record of success in managing retail performance and customer service KPIs;
- Commercial acumen and IT-confidence: Ability to manage, analyse and act upon key performance indicators including reporting on and making recommendations to key stakeholders.
