**About the role**
Balfour Beatty are currently looking for a **Fleet Co-ordinator** to join our Asset & Technology Solutions (ATS) team based in Derby.

Within this role you'll be required to work cross functionally across the Hub Operations teams, delivering aspects of Operational Fleet support
**What you'll be doing**
As a **Fleet Co-ordinator** you'll:

- Efficient sourcing of external short-term hire vehicles typically generated by gaps in the core fleet availability resulting from (but not limited to); breakdowns, extended downtime and short duration additional requirements.
- Accurately capture and monitor through to resolution HGV Helpdesk incidents, working closely with the wider operations team to minimise downtime and maximise customer satisfaction.
- Develop relationships with the customer and provide them with regular reporting relevant to the Service Desk function.
- Provide prompt resolution to any disputes raised by the customer, liaising with all relevant parties to reach an agreed outcome.
- Ensuring on-going records are amended to reduce the risk of repeat.
- Ensure that records are maintained in compliance with the processes outlined within the Balfour Beatty Business Management System
- Support the Fleet Hub Manager with supply chain management including attendance at planned Operational review meetings.
- Consistently review processes and procedures to ensure efficiency through daily operations: pro-actively suggest improvements to processes where inefficiencies are identified to ensure continuous improvement and enable lean working practices.

**Who we're looking for**
You'll have/be:

- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- Capable of prioritising their workload ensuring they deliver what is required within the given timescales.
- Able to demonstrate a tenacious approach to problem solving; investigating all appropriate avenues until such time that resolution is reached.

Ideally, you'll have previous experience within a similar role, although not essential.
