**JOB: Engineering Manager**
**LOCATION: Bristol**
**TERM: Permanent**
**SALARY: £50,000 - £75,000 per annum**
**REMOTE: 3 days remote**
**BENEFITS: 10% Bonus and 8% employer contributed pension**
My client is a world leader of designing and developing test equipment. Due to expansion, and a further growth in their global presence, they are now looking to expand their Electronics Team and need an experienced Hardware and Embedded Software EngineeringManager to help them do this.
**The Engineering Manager will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Degree qualified or similar in Electronics Engineering
- 7+ years’ experience of managing / leading a hardware and embedded software team ideally
- Full Product Life-cycle experience needed
- Supporting designs through to production
- Working with other multi-disciplinary Engineers
- Knowledge or experience with RF products and their functionality would be desirable
- Previous experience managing a Mechatronics or Robotics team would also be desirable

**The Engineering Manager role will involve**:

- Supervising Engineers within the team
- Taking ownership of the design activity supporting the company product lines
- Being involved in Project Managing and planning technical work for R&D
- Ensuring projects are managed to plan, scope and budget
- Liaising with colleagues in engineering and marketing agreeing product development specifications
- Being involved in performance management, disciplinary policies, approving leave, and agreeing team development objectives too
- Managing the teams workload
