**This is the job**:
Joining the AA as **Finance Business Partner**, you will be responsible for partnering the AA Cars operational and extended finance teams ensuring the processes, controls environment and business’s EBITDA are delivered.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Partnering Cars Operational Management team to ensure financial performance is understood across the team, gaps identified, results challenged and value adding analysis.
- Partnering the wider Finance team to ensure accurate month end reporting. (BAU plus continuous development to improve speed, accuracy and insight).
- Support analysis and understanding of monthly performance through variance analysis against the forecast/budget across revenue, costs and balance sheet.
- Work with the Head of Finance to ensure that VAT accounting and processes are understood operationally and in line with HMRC guidelines.
- Support in the identification of opportunities or risks to planned financial out-turns by attending weekly steering meetings with heads of departments.
- Liaison with Central Finance, Accounts Payable and Receivable to supporting month end, audit and payment/receipt queries.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process.

**What do I need?**:
**Capability, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Experience in a Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner role ideally in a similar company in terms of both size and complexity
- Extensive experience of Management Reporting including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, OpEx, CapEx.
- Experience in senior stakeholder management / relations
- Ability to present financial information in a concise and confident manner to both financial and non-financial staff
