Complies with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work assignment.
Support with interpretation and evaluation of quality information and data to generate and execute improvement plans to optimise quality within the plant. In addition ensure continuous improvement by enhanced cooperation between the plant departments regarding quality.
Supports production in executing local targets and supports the plant in terms of managing HFIs
Supports any preventive quality techniques implemented in the plant
Plans, executes and supports corrective and preventive measurements regarding defaults, products and processes including robust containment of defective product/processes
Executes quality tests including calibration
Supports the implementation of robust, user friendly, quality measures
Provides suitable quality related data to other departments on request
Implements and maintains quality standards
Supports the maintenance of the plant ISO systems
Reports supplier quality performance issues to the Shift Manager, Quality Supervisor and relevant Team Leader from audits and complaints received
Identifies defects regarding processes and products and reports them to the relevant personnel
Assists in root cause analysis on quality issues and develops action plans in conjunction with the Quality Supervisor
Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.
Assures and maintains safe and healthy working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations
Ability to communicate effectively, write effectively, read, comprehend, and follow complicated verbal and written instructions.
Understands, completes and maintains quality documentation for which the individual is trained, or as directed by the quality department (i.e. inspections, labelling, record keeping, maintenance of equipment etc.)
**Professional & Education Qualification**
Job-related experience in a relevant field for a minimum of 2 years or holds a quality related level 3 qualification.
**Skills**
Maintains and used the standard technology, working manuals to cover the quality of the final product.
- Ability to learn nomenclature of all assigned equipment, products, quality standards.
- Ability to learn to identify product defects.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to organize, plan, and prioritize making decisions
- Ability to meet deadlines and to concentrate and pay attention to details.
- Ability to operate and functionally use a computer.
- This role is a shift based role 12 hours shifts 4 on 4 off
- Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills.
