**Menzies Distribution are looking for a Quality and Compliance lead who will be able to work in a complex fast-moving environment. You’ll support the management team in ensuring customer service levels are achieved alongside operational compliance whilst looking for ways to maximise improve operational efficiency**:
This role is Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm

**DUITES**
- Build effective relationships with customer, stakeholders and colleagues in order to ensure that operations run effectively
- Assist in the implementation of new customers to ensure compliance
- Facilitate the introduction of new processes throughout the site(s) and monitor progress of this result
- Actively identify potential risks & issues related to the operations at the site (s). Manage and mitigate strategic risks and resolve key issues. Ensure any risks outside of your control are raised to the appropriate management teams
- Design remediation plans to address productivity and efficiency issues and track record of following through to ensure closure
- Support the delivery of value creation and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity and waste within business processes
- Assist management in identifying trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system that dovetails into the KPI reporting suit.
- Produce accurate and comprehensive report documentation and ensure that current progress is recorded, monitored, managed and reported.
- Identify any operations that are outwith the expected process to report to management in terms of cost, time and revenue so that any issues can be picked up early and managed accordingly
- Support with training and development across the site(s) for all processes and procedures
- Assist with the creation and development of suit of materials and information which enables the sharing of best practice and techniques to empower teams across the business to streamline and improve processes and service
- Deliver CI activity without impacting BAU service delivery and with the full engagement of service delivery stakeholders. Be able to articulate the value and importance of CI activity within the organisation and highlight impact of non-activity
- Visualise as-is and to-be processes and KPI measures and assist business teams to develop a clear understanding of process change impacts with adoption approaches
- Driving ownership & accountability across the site / business
- Ensuring compliance is followed in the final mile to ensure the customer SLA is met
- Ensuring the team / depot are communicated to effectively and kept updated with results.
- Pushing the concept 'it starts and ends with the customer' and compliance is key.
- Dealing with non-compliance in the depot and retraining where required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to resolve problems and present appropriate business solutions and recommendations
- Ability to make quality independent decisions
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- An understanding of continuous improvement
- Strong PC skills with good knowledge of creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- you will need to use daily.
- Extensive knowledge of working in a CI role, in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Strong communicator and influencing skills
- Experience working with cross functional stakeholders, with a proven ability to develop effective teams
- Able to inspire and support others through the change management process
- Experience of data collection and analysis techniques
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and its practical usage
