As the Centrica Business Solutions (CBS) UK&I **Solutions Leader Public** you will be accountable to deliver innovative and leading decarbonised energy solutions and enabling our vision to help customers live sustainably, simply, and affordably. As the Solutions Leader Public you will be responsible for the end-to-end project performance of multi-technology activities for public sector and large corporate customers. You will ensure profitable business delivery for our services end to end - with the matrix support functions of sales, commercial, engineering and O&M.

You are a natural and trusted leader with a unique blend of business acumen and a solid technical understanding and energy experience throughout the UK and Ireland. You have a broad knowledge of technical solutions including solar, storage, heat pumps, heat networks, CHP and energy efficiency measures.

**Key Accountabilities...**
- ** Health safety & environment**:Actively drive a positive safety a culture of zero incidents for Centrica and our customers across all phases of the customer journey from sales to O&M
- ** Customers**: Provide a high level of customer experience along the customer journey through both direct customer interactions but also indirectly through process and governance adherence. Be a consistent senior customer contract from sales through to O&M
- ** Integrated Solutions P&L accountability**:Overall accountability for the financial performance of all customer activities that are classified as being an integrated solution. This will likely include all public sector hospital projects as well as complex corporate accounts
- ** Project management**: Lead end to end management of customer activities on integrated solutions including:

- ** Planning**:Overall accountability for ensuring segment planning of projects, resources, maintenance and development of the capability of workforce to meet current and future needs to ensure optimum segment productivity is achieved
- ** Project controls**:Manage handovers between teams in particular between sales and delivery, and delivery and O&M and ensure adherence to the project stage gate requirements. Ensure appropriate approvals are received for projects up to and including the Centrica Board level
- ** Reporting**:Take responsibility for upward reporting of segment performance across a balanced set of performance metrics including HSE, team engagement, customer experience, financial performance
- ** Project management & site construction**:Ensure successful delivery of projects to time, cost, quality and safety
- ** Matrix working**:Drive end to end customer activities working in a matrix with support from other functions:

- ** Sales**:Support the Public Sector and Key Account sales leads to help prioritise the opportunities that we pursue, ensure the projects are adequately scoped and projects are matured to FID with an acceptable financial and risk profile for Centrica while delivering value to our customers
- ** Engineering**:Support the engineering teams to ensure that projects meet customer needs and maximise overall life-time value for Centrica and our customers
- ** O&M**:Ensure successful handover of projects into the O&M phase for ongoing operations by the O&M team

**What we're looking for...**
- **Business management**: An experienced business leader able to operate independently across functions to deliver overall business results
- ** Delivery track record**: Proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex, multi-technology solutions for the public sector and large corporate customers. Significant experience with project management, project controls and project governance
- ** HSE**:Experience managing HSE in an engineering and construction environment
- ** Technical**: Multi-disciplined technical experience across products, integration and engineering disciplines
- Detailed technical understanding of behind the meter energy technologies including solar, storage, heat pumps, heat networks, CHP, energy efficiency
- Experience with integrating different technologies with each other and the customers operations on site to form an overall solution. An understanding of site level controls also beneficial
- Multi-disciplined engineer with experience working across civils, electrical and mechanical services
