Purpose of the Role Sell all assigned products and assist in the delivery & co-ordination of our headline events

Motorsport Network’s events division is a fast-growing specialist provider of motorsport tickets, experiences, travel, hospitality, and exclusive events, including Le Mans 24 Hours, Formula 1 and Moto GP races, WRC rallies, the Isle of Man TT and many more.
Motorsport Travel Destinations is one of the UK's leading motorsport travel agents and tour operators providing, exclusive on-circuit accommodation, hospitality and travel options for 24hrs of Le Mans, Le Mans Classic and many other fixtures across the racing calendar. We also develop, sell and operate some of the most sought-after driving tours in the UK and Europe.
Principal Accountabilities:
**Responsible for**:
- Listen to customer requirements and recommend products or solutions to help them achieve their desired experience
- Accurately and quickly logging and managing customer booking to ensure all aspects have been booked/held/confirmed
- Liaise with travel component suppliers and providers to ensure bookings are booked and fulfilled
- Ensure customer has received all travel documents and confirmations and assist with fulfilment/distribution as required
- Attend headline events and assist with setup, breakdown and operation
- For most events be onsite to ensure client’s satisfaction with the product and provide complaint resolution
- Attend trade shows, familiarisation trips and supplier visits as directed
Skills, Knowledge and Attributes Required:
- 1 - 2 years of sales or sales-related experience in hospitality or travel
- Degree/Certificate in hospitality management, tourism management or similar
- Familiarity with multi-component travel packages
- Excellent communication skills, including a clear and polite telephone manner
- Ability to resolve complaints in a consultative and positive manner
- Ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks
- Ability to work within a close-knit and multi-skilled team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience booking/working with suppliers to tour operator’s ferries/Eurotunnel/hotels
- Computer literacy, with a good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Knowledge of French (desirable but not required)
- Valid passport & drivers’ licence
