**Reservations Agent** - Clayton Hotel City of London**

**We have a fantastic opportunity for a Reservations Agent at the Clayton Hotel City of London. As a Reservations agent, you will be a part of our dedicated and enthusiastic Reservations team and responsible for delivering a first-class experience to our guests with a warm and friendly yet professional demeanour.**

**Clayton Hotel is ideally located for corporate customers who want to be close to the City of London and leisure guests visiting the many attractions that the city has to offer. The hotel has 212 bedrooms with an approximately 120-seater restaurant and a separate bar area which is located adjacent to Aldgate East Underground Station.**

**Objective of the Role**:
Reporting to the Reservations Manager, the Reservations Agent will be the first point of contact for our guests. It is of utmost importance that the reservations department present a friendly and professional manner at all times. As a Reservations Agent, you will act as the main point of contact for guests’ bookings for bedrooms and car park, dealing with queries and cross-selling of our other properties.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage guest's reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard.
- Give details of hotel facilities and pricing information.
- Upsell other areas of the hotel or other properties in the group.
- Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance of the guest’s stay.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years experience in a similar role with a Reservations System. Knowledge of Opera would be an advantage.
- Excellent customer care skills.
- Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential.
- Ability to cope well under pressure.
- Highly motivated, and a team player.
