**About the role**:
**Key responsibilities of our Customer Service Agent**:

- Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
- Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives
- Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
- Keep records of all conversations in our call centre database in a comprehensible way
- Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
- Ensure the telephone is answered in a professional and polite manner
- Ensure that all reasonable measures are taken to maintain effective security and any personal information taken complies with the Data Protection Act 2018
- Promote equality in working practices by developing and maintaining positive working relationships, ensuring that colleagues/customers are treated fairly
- To have a working knowledge of all procedures within the department
- To undertake, as from time to time, such additional duties as requested by your line manager for the efficient operation and function of the business.

**What we are looking for in our Customer Service Agent**:

- Experience in effective customer communication
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload to ensure deadlines and personal objectives are met
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised, achieving deadlines and objectives
- Ability to make decisions without reference
- Flexible attitude to all duties and responsibilities
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload to ensure targets are met
- Ability to work as an effective member of the team
