Butler Rose is recruiting a Finance Manager on an exclusive basis for a fantastic SME business in Torbay.

This is a new role due to business growth, reporting into and supporting the Managing Director and working closely with various stakeholders across the business. This is a varied role where you will be required to be hands on as well as working strategically.

Key duties will include:

- Management of the day-to-day accounting function for a busy commercial business
- Supervision of 2 accounting staff
- Produce monthly management accounts and present with narrative to directors
- Weekly flash reporting (debtors, creditors, stock, bank)
- Oversee credit control function including third party factoring
- Implement robust credit control procedures
- Responsibility for overseeing outsourced payroll service
- Delegated responsibility for overseeing service contracts, supplier resilience and renegotiating contracts
- Business planning (cash-flow management, forecasting, budgeting)
- Working closely with directors, peers and people at various levels
- Use of Xero accounting software
