They are now the market-leading provider of websites, intranets, secure portals,and online digital solutions to these sectors. They have built a reputation for providing creative solutions on scalable, future-proofed software, and providing first class on-going support.
**The Role**:
The content strategist's responsibilities include determining which formats best communicate various types of content, identifying ways to increase brand awareness, and conducting keyword research. You should also be able to analyse user engagement metricsto determine whether the content is well-received.
The role will be fast-paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic. Working closely with both the sales, marketing and the deployment teams, this role will be responsible for supporting the business to produce timely, relevant, informative, and insightful contentboth for internal and external customer use including helping their customers with their content strategies. Ultimately as an outstanding content creator/strategist you should demonstrate exceptional content creation and presentation skills and be able towork well under pressure.
Hybrid working with 2-3 days office based with full training and career progression provided.
**Essential Skills & Requirements**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a consultative approach
- Write clear, compelling copy for a variety of channels including across the entire buyer journey to different personas, verticals, and communication touchpoints.
- Ensure consistency of brand voice throughout all their communication touchpoints
- A clear communicator with the ability to explain, argue, and convince a wide cross-section of stakeholders about your ideas.
- At least 3 years’ experience, either in a similar corporate writing/editing/PR role or as a business journalist/ freelancer writing news and in-depth features.
- Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, search engine optimisation (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM).
- Clear understanding of how to write content that is search-engine friendly and ability to fully leverage content across multiple digital and social media channels
- Understand and demonstrate knowledge of the concepts and standards of Accessibility content, and more general Web Accessibility
- Strong research and interviewing skills and ability to communicate complex ideas in a jargon-free and engaging manner.
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Educated to degree level, preferably either English, marketing, history, or journalism.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Strong content presentation skills.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
