Transport Driver

**Job Introduction**:
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Driver to join Alpha Omega Securities based in Cheshire and Staffordshire area. There will be the option to work overtime due to holidays and sickness.
As a Company Transport Driver you will be responsible for transporting staff between their homes and sites and vice versa
**Hours of Work**
Your hours of work will be random as the business requires,
- Days 04:00 - 09:00
- Nights 15:00 - 20:00
**Company Vehicles**
You are responsible for ensuring that you check the serviceability of the vehicle you are to use during your shift. You must check the engine has got oil and water at all times and this must be checked on a daily basis.
All defects or damage is to be recorded on the Daily Vehicle Check Sheet and brought to the attention of the Control Room Operator/Operation Supervisor/Manager.
You are to ensure that the vehicle that you have driven during your shift is fuelled up at the end of your shift if required. At no time should any vehicle be left with less than ½ a tank of fuel.
Once you have signed for the vehicle, you are responsible for it, the company will accept no liability for Speeding, Parking or other penalties issued against the vehicle. Any damage or neglect which has not been previously reported (i.e. mirrors, wheel trims etc) whilst in your possession will be considered to be your responsibility and any costs will be recovered if the driver is found to be at fault.
You should ensure that the vehicle you are driving has the following equipment on board:
- First Aid Box
- Torch
- Fire Extinguisher
- Spare Wheel & tools
You are to ensure that all company vehicles are cleaned inside and out as and when required, you are to take the vehicles to local carwash.
**Incident Reporting**
You are to ensure that you complete Incident Reports for all Alarm Activations attended and Incidents arising during your shift. This includes accidents and any other unusual incidents during your shift.
All Incident Reports are to be handed in to the Control Room at the end of your shift with any other relevant documentation.
**Transport of Employees**
During your shift you will be required to transport staff between their homes and sites and vice versa. You are to ensure that you allow sufficient time to ensure that staffs going on to shift are on time for the start of their shift.
**Control Room Access**
Unless authorised to do so you are not to enter the Control Room to collect keys or other equipment, all necessary documentation and keys etc. should be issued by the Control Room Operator or Designated Person.
**Deliveries and Collections**
At times you will be required to carry out additional tasks such as the delivery of Invoices, equipment etc. Such deliveries and collection will be at the request of Management or Administration.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £9.78 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- Driving: 1 year (preferred)
