**Summary**:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the procurement of new business sales and opportunities.
As part of the Sales team, the Business Development Manager will support business growth through proactive lead generation and a network of contacts to attract new clients, research possible new market opportunities, and the identification of cross-salesand up-sale opportunities to the B2B, Public
Sector & Channel/Partner Markets.
Supporting the customer journey will include gathering honest feedback and after sale care and support.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager will support business growth through proactive Lead generation, to increase penetration within their designated territories and achieve agreed sales targets.
**Duties**:
- Consistently achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs
- Oversee an assigned portfolio of new business accounts and/or leads
- To be the initial point of contact for all inbound sales enquiries relating to direct opportunities from new clients, up to the point of sale and handover to the Partner Manager
- Utilise business and industry knowledge to accurately anticipate and assess customer requirements, to deliver and exceed service expectations
- Proactively source, schedule and attend prospective client meetings across the UK in order to manage, maintain and develop relationships with prospective clients
- Perform product and services demonstrations for prospective clients and partners, effectively communicating company ethos and product portfolio Work together with Marketing to design, develop and deploy targeted Marketing campaigns within designated territories
- Produce Quotes & Contracts for New Business Opportunities
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of relevant products and services technologies within the ISP/Telecommunications, in addition to our clients Networks' product portfolio
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of department knowledge-base content
- To act in accordance with the company behaviours and values within general practice
- To enforce and adhere to our clients policies and procedures to support the IMS.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications Educated to GCSE level, inclusive of Maths and English
Full UK Driving License (Clean)
Experience Previous experience within a Sales environment (3 years +)
Previous experience within an external Sales role (3 years +)

- Highly Proficient with Salesforce able to use the system to report, collate data, and run opportunities and orders without mistakes or issues.
- Exceptional organisation and planning skills, with an ability to manage and prioritise workloads autonomously.
- Innovative and analytical approach to problem-solving, focusing on delivering outcomes to an exceptional standard.
- Ability to proficiently and consistently manage partners by running regular reviews and meetings, developing strong relationships and plan and develop productive partner plans that drive growth.
- Strong and consistent presentation skills, having the ability to put across the
Company’s message and make clients and partners understand the benefits and advantages of the things been shown.
- Highly competent in building and running a pipeline of opportunities in our
CRM. Consistently developing, updating and driving the opportunities in the pipeline to generate new business.
- Consistently and Proactively be able to acquire new and relevant information about Clients both new and existing and record this information through our systems to make sure we have clean quality information that can be used throughout the business.
- Skilled at quickly and efficiently deal with queries, issues, complaints or requests from any potential partner or client, making sure these are recorded, dealt with and fed back to in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Skilled and experienced in the use of IT Software; including Microsoft packages and project management tools and/or adaptable and quick to learn new software.
**Knowledge**
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and industry best practice
- A solid understanding of how to develop partners, partner planning and territory management.
Relationship Cultivation
- Long-term management of the relationship - company management

- Curate, maintain and manage long-term partner plans
- High level of understanding and competence to deal with queries
- High knowledge of relationship management techniques and processes
Pipeline Management
- Interpret, update, correct and work from the
- Sales Pipeline Create and manage the day-to-day activities, and update the pipeline. ensure touch points on opportunities, orders and leads.
- How to build a pipeline in accordance via lead generation - to meet the strategic needs of the organisation self-generation of leads and contribution to the pipeline.
Up to **£30,000** basic
predicted **OTE is £70,000** for the year,
