Leicester Grammar School is one of the UK's top-performing co-educational HMC independent day schools. We are looking for a Head of Cricket to lead our cricket programme for the summer term, working with colleagues to inspire a love of the sport in our pupils, to build their knowledge and skills of pupils, and to aspire to excellence.
Essential Skills and Experience for our Head of Cricket
- Demonstrate commitment to high academic standards
- Have played cricket to a high level, thus being able to lead by example and from experience
- Have the potential to become an outstanding Head of Cricket
- A track record of successful cricket coaching or leading a cricket programme
- Demonstrate the ability to build strong working relationships with pupils, other professionals and parents
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with a range of audiences, such as pupils, colleagues and parents
- Possess excellent time management and organisational skills
- Demonstrate the ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK
Desirable Skills and Experience for our Head of Rugby
- Be a qualified and excellent teacher of Physical Education at secondary level
- Demonstrate commitment to your own professional development
- Have an understanding of the benefits of co-education and be willing and committed to involvement in the pastoral and co-curricular life of a busy and ambitious school community
- Be able to demonstrate and promote positive values, attitudes and behaviour with young people
