**Job Purpose**
To provide comprehensive support for all people functions, including health and safety, training, and employee engagement, ensuring the smooth operation of the People department while contributing to the overall employee experience.
**Fundamental Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintaining accurate and up to date employee records and files, such as personnel files, ensuring employee documents are always valid and in date.
- Assisting the people department by recording minutes during disciplinary meetings, welfare meetings and other related sessions.
- Assisting HR advisor on onboarding process for new starters, including preparing offer letters, conducting inductions and ensuring all relevant documentation is in place to allow a smooth start for new staff without any delay.
- Effectively provide general administration tasks for all people functions including HR, Health and Safety and Training to assist to a smooth running department.
- Evaluate timesheet entries, ensuring these are filed accurately and according to each department’s needs, communicating with department heads to ensure these are correctly logged preventing inaccurate expense to the company.
- Create engaging content for newsletters and internal communication materials to inform and connect the workforce.
- Contribute to internal campaigns and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and morale.
- Assist in planning and executing charity and community events to support Love Joes' social impact goals.
Coordinate the distribution, tracking, and return of company assets, including IT equipment, uniforms, and other resources
**Knowledge and Skills**
Understanding of employment law and HR compliance.
Detailed understanding of effective onboarding.
Highly Developed organisational skills
Developed interpersonal skills. Developed skills in HR technology.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,500.00 per year
