The Head of Enterprise Planning will report to the PMO Director in Mission Delivery. You will lead the Planning function and implement an operational model that can deliver across the AWE Enterprise and Mission. The architect of the complete planning modelfrom strategic plans, performance measurement baselines to operation delivery plans.

As part of the leadership team, key accountabilities for this role will be:

- You will own the enterprise planning model that brings clarity, discipline, and certainty on schedule delivery
- You will be accountable for the development of a core planning capability that can service all levels of the AWE planning enterprise
- Be able to communicate with confidence to all our stakeholders and sponsors and defines and agrees the ownership of each level of planning
- Lead the process improvements of planning and the drive to deliver a solid foundation to produce Performance Measurement Baselines and enable solid project control
- Ensure company values and behaviours, and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality
- Provide leadership across the function to coach, develop and engage and motivate individuals to create high performing teams that are held to account and that are influential both internal and external to the Company

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing and building a new planning function that is capable on leading and servicing all levels of AWE Enterprise Planning requirements
- Restructure the AWE Enterprise Planning Model to drive a clear set of standards that enable a mature and disciplined approach to schedule management
- Responsible for the planning integration model and relationships that interface the enterprise-wide plans and inform the Executive of schedule performance, key decision points and risk and uncertainty modelling
- Build a schedule risk modelling capability that will analyse and approve the risk position across the planning hierarchy
- Own the governance and configuration control of the planning model for AWE
- Build a Scale & Operation Planning model with the Operation team that supports AWE enterprise requirements capacity planning requirements
- Lead the planning elements on the implementation of the new ERP systems for AWE
- Provides Strategic, Tactical and Operational insights across the schedule
- Provides measure/KPI on the health of the Enterprise Planning model and continuous improvement.
