An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our award-winning London liaison and diversion services across our capital.
Liaison and diversion is the national flagship programme from NHS England created to address heath inequities and to offer people better health and justice outcomes.
You will be expected to work in close collaboration with our partners in health and social care. You will assess, liaise, refer, and provide guidance for individuals who have come to the attention of criminal justice agencies.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team. You will also benefit from being part of a dynamic growing organisation committed to the development of its workforce.
We are committed to supporting CPD for our staff and we also provide a comprehensive induction and training package to those who join.
**About you?**
You will be a registered health care practitioner with interest and training in mental health **(Allied Health Professions: Mental Health Nurse; Psychologist, Social Worker; Occupational Therapist).**
You will have experience in undertaking specialist mental health assessments and have a sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act/Capacity Act and criminal justice systems.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills that will enable you to challenge, motivate, influence, and inspire your colleagues at all levels.
