**Role Summary**
The core focus of the Data intelligence specialist is to lead the development, governance and performance of data and intelligence services for the organisation. Provide Data and Intelligence expertise including health intelligence to the organisation to ensure maximum benefit from their investment through developing and maintaining BI strategy. Support the use of business intelligence across directorates to support service and organisational performance and strategy. Understand both the business and the technical aspects of Data and Intelligence ensuring they deliver the required outcomes. Drive the use of business Intelligence to support services and organisational performance and strategy. To engage in collaborative working with all stakeholders.
**Experience / Qualifications**:
You must be educated to Degree level in a field relevant to the post or equivalent experience.
You will have a solid background in data analytics with experience of SSIS, SQL, Azure and the Microsoft Power Platform.
You will also be able to solve complex data problems through data manipulation. You can demonstrate experience of planning and delivering work successfully in a project or product environment, and product lifecycle management.
You must have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, have the ability to understand the variety and complexity of users’ digital and data needs and how the product(s) will meet those needs**.**
