**Description**

Rent Team Officer
- Committed to putting external and internal customers first, understanding their needs and expectations and achieving results.
- Carry out Fair Rent Registrations.
- Complete all associated tasks in relation to the rent reviews for all tenures across the year, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Inform Local Authority's of any rent changes for any customers in receipt of benefits
- Calculate and publish re-let rents.
- Compile data for the annual statistical data return.
- Obtain 'mark-to-market' valuations for rents for relevant tenures as required
- Liaise with external and internal auditors.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of rent setting legislation and update policy to reflect changes.
- Prepare and where appropriate mail rent statements.
- Participate in the ad-hoc training of colleagues for all processes
- Undertake system testing as required.
- Assist in maintaining necessary controls in respect of both input and audit trails
- Provide information internally for completion of rent budgets.
- Absence cover for Colleagues.
- Any reasonable Ad-hoc request as required.
- Work shared team mailbox.
- Deal with and resolve queries and complaints through to resolution.
- Work to ensure effective inter departmental liaison and service level agreements are achieved.
- Liaise with external agencies and resolve queries.
