The role of Primary Teaching Assistant has presenteditself in several our partner schools, to be working in EYFS and KS1.
The work involves supporting the class teacher carry out the lesson plan, supporting children in small groups or independently (1:1), keeping the classroom organised and tidy and much more
**Role**: EYFS and KS1 Teaching Assistant
**What your role will include**:
- An understanding of the Teaching Assistant role supporting and overseeing pupils on set tasks and the expected outcomes of individual activities
- To have a positive attitude, be encouraging and compassionate
- To be able to work under pressure, be adaptable and organised
- Guiding and monitoring pupil progress
- Listening to pupils read and read to pupils as a class, group or one-to-one
- A passion for learning and make a difference in the classroom
