Spire Little Aston Hospital are currently looking for someone with previous experience in customer service and administration to join us as a Physiotherapy Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly team, and provide an essential role in supporting administrative processes for our Physiotherapy department.
This is a Bank position so you will be working ad hoc shifts week across Monday to Saturday.
Spire Little Aston Hospital is a leading private hospital in the Midlands, offering comprehensive hospital care to patients from Birmingham and the surrounding areas of the West Midlands and Staffordshire. The hospital has an exceptional reputation within a variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, Sports & Exercise Medicine, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Urology, General Surgery & Physiotherapy.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- To greet and provide a customer focused professional and effective service that exceeds expectations to all patients, consultants and visitors to the hospital.
- To answer and operate the department telephony and Bleep system in a prompt and efficient manner and take an accurate note of details to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
- Be fully conversant with both Cardiac and Fire procedures on Reception
- Receive, maintain and update patients records on the system SAP and if required liaise with internal departments.
- To prepare all relevant paperwork for patients prior to admission to the hospital
- Register all new or follow up patients, whether for procedures or outpatients consultations.
- Ensure 100% Medical Insurance, Credit Card details are obtained when required from Patients.
**Who we're looking for**:
- Experience of working in an administrative role would be desirable.
- Computer literate, with a comprehensive understanding of word and excel.
- Good customer service skills.
- You will have the ability to work in a team or on your own initiative
- If you are proactive, are a good team player and have a great eye for detail then this is the role for you.
