ADE Power Ltd is looking for a Maintenance Operative to ensure our facilities, equipment, and working environment remain in peak condition. From hands-on fixes to proactive inspections, your work will help keep our site safe and functional.

**Responsibilities**
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Maintain tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery
- Support health & safety protocols and compliance standards
- Assist in site upgrades and installation prep

**Requirements**:

- Hands-on experience in facility or machinery maintenance—especially in welding/fabrication environments
- Familiarity with MIG, TIG, plasma cutters, CNC machines, and workshop tools
- Qualifications in mechanical/electrical disciplines a plus (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds)
- Eye for detail, safety-first mindset, and can-do attitude
- Able to work solo or as part of a tight-knit crew

**Working Hours**

The working hours for this position are 40 hours per week, from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday and from 7am to 1pm on Friday. The business is closed for Bank Holidays, we also enjoy a shutdown every Christmas until after the New Year.
