Progressive MicroFinance organisation which works to create and support high quality financial inclusion companies (microfinance companies) in Africa and Asia is looking to strengthen its capabilities in its London office, through the recruitment of a part-timeaccountant interested in developing analytical skills.

The accountant will carry out all accounting and reporting obligations of the LLP, and undertake some data analysis and analytical reporting for the Group CEO.

**Responsibilities**
- Day-to-day accounting, including preparation of invoices, processing expenses, managing ledgers and carrying out bank reconciliations
- Management of banking, international invoices and FX payments
- Monthly management accounts & reporting
- Preparing budgets & forecasts, and cashflow management
- Monthly and annual statutory accounts preparation and management
- Quarterly VAT returns submissions
- Preparation and submission of Companies House & FCA statutory filings and reporting
- Undertaking data analysis and preparing analytical management reports for the Group CEO
- Maintaining & updating fixed asset records
- Monthly payroll administration and preparation of annual P11D reconciliations.
- Negotiation and administration of company insurances

**Requirements (Essential)**
- Accountant, studying towards an accounting qualification with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience. This includes some experience of LLP accounting and reporting.
- Interest in and experience of data analysis and analytical reporting.
- Excellent command of English, with experience in report writing (in English) and presenting financial information to a range of finance and non-finance audience.
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
- Understanding of and interest in microfinance.

This is a part-time role, with the individual working 3 days/week in their London-office. Flexible work arrangements can be discussed. UK RTW essential.
