The team is responsible for oversight and control for regulatory operational processes supporting the Cleared Derivatives Business (Futures and Cleared OTC). Futures and OTC Clearing Operations are seeking an AVP to join their Control team who will be responsible for the oversight of day to day compliance for transaction reporting including exception management and risk mitigation **Key Responsibilities**: - Help drive implementation and perform periodic monitoring and testing of the completeness and accuracy of EMIR reporting to verify ongoing compliance with the regulatory requirements - The individual will be responsible for the review, action and oversight of daily Trade, Position and Transaction exception reporting data. - The individual will be responsible for working collaboratively with Operations Regulatory Control, Technology, and key business stakeholders to maintain a strong working relationship and a best in class approach to proactive exception management. - Engage with project management, technology and business stakeholders to ensure upcoming change is captured - Ensure adequate issue documentation, testing and resolution implementation. Implement strong change management standards and ensure all required sign-offs and audit trails are maintained. - Identification of areas for improving existing processes and controls - Develop & enhance control framework to ensure reporting accuracy plus completeness in a manner which compliments Citi's strategic roadmap on end state reporting controls, accountability and governance, inclusive of pre and post submission controls. Partnerwith internal regulatory oversight teams to ensure this alignment of standards and practices. - Escalate issues in accordance with Firm and regulatory protocols. **Development Value**: - Receive a six-month long training program in all aspects of the role. - Exposure to all of the products supported by the Operations group. - Develop stakeholder management competence at peer and senior manager level. - Proficiency in the use of technology within own department. - Enhanced communication and organizational skills. - Develop Project Management skills. - Have access to an extensive online learning resource. - The opportunity to study for industry exams and FSA affiliate status. - Citi success depends on its people and their ability to develop and grow within the organisation. FCX Operations support all employees to feel empowered to take responsibility for their own development. **Knowledge/Experience**: - Practical experience in analysis, design and implementation of new processes in a financial services industry - Experience of compiling large volumes of data and analysing results; - Experience of exception based controls and processing; - Experience of working within a control environment; - Experience of EMIR Transaction reporting (preferable) **Skills**: - Good Microsoft skills including Excel, Word and Outlook - Proactive, able to work on initiative and organize themselves well - Ability to communicate effectively facilitating interaction with clients, own team and operations management.
