Join us as an eTrading Oversight Analyst
- This role will see you provide 2LOD oversight of risk management associated with the organisation's algorithmic and electronic trading activities globally
- We'll look to you to support oversight of material change processes, algorithmic trading controls and operating processes
- You'll have a real opportunity to add value and deliver lasting results in this role, while building meaningful relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders

**What you'll do**
You'll help detect inadequate or ineffective controls to mitigate algorithmic or eTrading specific risks.
You'll also contribute to the delivery and validation of assessments of compliance with regulatory requirements on algorithmic and electronic trading.
You'll also be:

- Analysing the risk profile and providing expert interpersonal challenge to 1LOD on the identification, assessment, and controls of algorithmic and eTrading risks
- Undertaking reviews of material risks and of adherence across all operational risk standards, using the outputs to inform debate and action with senior management
- Contributing to the design, development, and implementation of the 2LOD approach to oversight of risks associated with NatWest Markets' algorithmic and global electronic trading activities

**The skills you'll need**
To succeed in this role, you'll need knowledge of the regulatory environment relevant to algorithmic trading, framework design and deployment. You'll also need an understanding of operational risks relevant to algorithmic and electronic trading, including keytechnology processes, and a demonstrable track record in delivering appropriate oversight and challenge of 1LOD.
You'll also demonstrate:

- The ability to communicate both written and verbal
- Good organisational skills
- A proven track record to manage and deliver projects or multiple activities
- Influencing and creative skills to resolve conflict and complex problems and to identify alternative solutions
