This is a new role for an IT Controls Assurance Analyst to work for a Financial Services business in the City of London. The IT Controls Assurance Analyst will provide a range of analytical, technical and administrative assurance and oversight activities,in support of the first line COO controls assurance framework.

**Client Details**

The client is a Financial Services business, specifically Investment Management, and they are looking for an IT Controls Assurance Analyst to join their team in the City of London.

**Description**
- In conjunction with the IT Controls Assurance Manager and supporting the Technology (Run & Change) teams, assist in the implementation of an IT oversight and assurance model; specifically covering: ISAE3402; Regulatory / Compliance; and the internal controlsframework.
- Co-ordinate and perform assurance activities and analytical assessment of the IT controls frameworks across Technology (Run & Change), Cyber, & Transformation; including an assessment on the appropriateness and effectiveness of policies, procedures, andcontrol measures to support the control and risk management environment.
- Provide oversight and assurance on 1LOD progress regarding the implementation of remediation actions and recommendations resulting from external audit, as well as internal 2LOD monitoring and 3LOD internal audit activity. Engage with providers of otherIT assurance activity, as applicable.
- Assist with external audit cycles, including evidence gathering and review (in conjunction with IT Management) in terms of control compliance, in relation to (including, but not limited to) the ISAE3402; Regulatory & Compliance and the technology internalcontrols framework.
- Undertake Quality Assurance reviews across all aspects of the function, working with Technology, Cyber and Transformation teams to implement and maintain agreed standards and best practice.
- Work in conjunction with Technology, Cyber & Transformation teams and provide guidance in relation to all assurance related activities.
- Provide support to the supplier review process for Technology supplier relationships; undertake assurance activities on the timeliness and completion of such reviews.
- Liaise with other team members, arrange and provide ad-hoc additional analytical and administrative support, and project activities, as and when requested, under direction of the IT Controls Assurance Manager.
- Complete ad hoc projects / activities as required; analyse and assemble data for report preparation, produce management information as required whilst effectively managing time and competing priorities. Provide administrative support to Oversight & Controlforums as required.

**Profile**
- Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - proficient.
- 1 year working in a similar role
- Can cite specific examples of influencing technical and process management decisions to the benefit of the company

**Job Offer**

£30,000 - £33,000 per annum
