Systems Administrator

The IT Systems Administrator role will work to maintain and support the XPGroup, Servers (x14) and systems across localized and Cloud based services. Duties and responsibilities will cover a variety of tasks across all aspects of the IT Systems. Based in the Chipping Warden office, this role may be required to travel on occasion to other sites if required.
**A Bit More About the Role**
- Manage support queries in line with our Service Desk standards
- Responsible for building PCs and Laptops as required
- Resolve incidents/problems relating to servers, PCs, Mobile Devices and telecoms infrastructure
- Manage incidents raised with 3rd parties
- Maintain good working relationships with members of the IT team and other departments
- Undertake administrative processes and procedures
- Ensure user compliance with Company, IT and security policies
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 10 / 11 operating systems to an administrative level, Linux advantageous
- Strong understanding of Office 365 Admin Centre and Microsoft Office software
- Knowledge of cloud services, O365, AWS, Azure, Backups
- Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy etc.
- Experience of installation, configuration, and support of hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, server hardware, etc.)
- Knowledge with VOIP phone systems.
- Knowledge of Android operating system
**What We Can Expect from You**
- Must have experience of working in a support capacity and an understanding of working with information technology, including cloud services (Microsoft 365, AWS, VMware, Veeam) Server operating systems
- Knowledge of Active Directory, general administration of users’ accounts and mailboxes (Exchange online O365)
- Ability to work in a team environment with mínimal supervision
- Competent experience of various Operating Systems
- Understanding of mobile device management and supporting a fleet of corporate devices
- Knowledge of networking technologies and principles
- Understanding of information security and data security
