6:30am to 10:30am (Mon Fri) and 2.30pm 6pm (Mon Thurs) 2.30pm 5.30pm (Fri)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking, reliable and committed caretaker to join our friendly team at Hursthead Junior School.
The Trustees of the Kirkstead Education Trust at Hursthead Junior School wish to appoint a motivated individual who is highly organised, proactive, flexible and prides themselves on meticulous attention to detail. Communicate positively and effectively with children, staff, parents and contractors

Organise and prioritise their own workload
Be pro-active and contribute to wider school life
He /she will play an integral part in the safe and efficient operation of the school site, including:
Securing the site and operating systems such as intruder and fire alarms
Cleaning to a high standard
General maintenance duties and minor repairs
Key holder responsibilities
Effective communication with the school team and liaison with contractors
Accurate and effective record keeping
Preparation/ set up of school events including out of hours meetings and performances
