Juniper is an independent established training provider who have been assisting young people to move forward and achieve for 35 years. Delivering Traineeships, Study Programmes and Apprenticeships we help young people across the country to take positivesteps forward in their lives.

As our Employer Engagement Officer, you will recruit National, Local, Levy and Non-Levy employers to work with Juniper’s apprenticeship provision. Understanding who the LEPs are across the region we operate in, you will build relationships with LEP contracts,trade organisations and other employer organisations to maximise the opportunities for partnership working. Attending job and recruitment fairs as required, you will communicate and work closely with Performance Managers within centres to make them aware oflocal priorities and ensure social media and marketing is current, setting up and maintaining a LinkedIn profile to support your role and the profile of Juniper.

We’d like our Employer Engagement Officer to have experience of engaging with employers / organisations to provide apprenticeship opportunities and be able to sell the benefits of apprenticeships, including those reluctant to engage. Comfortable workingto targets, you will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and knowledge of apprenticeship standards.

Highly motivated and solution focused, you will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to network successfully. You will be organised, able to work using own initiative and work well as part of a team, building proactive relationships in the workplace.We’d also like you to have an understanding of marketing initiatives as well as knowledge of LEPS, trade and other employer organisations.
