**Role Overview**:
As an **Employer Engagement Advisor**, your primary responsibility will be to proactively engage, develop, and retain key national and local employer partnerships. These partnerships are crucial for supporting the contractual requirements of the **Restart Scheme and supporting long-term unemployed back into employment**. You’ll play a vital role in contributing to the development and implementation of the **Employer Engagement Strategy.**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Proactively engage employers by building and maintaining strong relationships, both nationally and locally.
- Identify and cultivate partnerships that align with the goals of the Restart Scheme.
- Ensure ongoing collaboration with employers to support the successful delivery of the programme and achieve contractual KPI’s.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of the Employer Engagement Strategy.
- Work closely with employers to provide tailored support for participants, addressing any employment barriers.
- Collaborate with local government, other partners, and Jobcentre Plus to enhance employment opportunities.
- Pre-screen submissions for managed vacancies, ensuring that you are meeting employer expectations and protecting the future of the relationship. Providing feedback for unsuccessful submissions to Employment Coaches for continued participant development.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of quarterly scale job fairs as well as regular employer information sessions in the office.
- Keep multiple CRM systems up to date with employer and participant information.
**General**:
- Maintain an awareness of and actively follow and promote Company policies, including, but not limited to, Safer Recruitment, Data Protection, Information Security, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Prevent
- Undertake any training as required by Company policy and take responsibility for professional development
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Operations Manager
**Essential criteria**
- Previous experience in employer engagement, partnership development, or related roles.
- Ability to identify and address employment-related challenges.
- Knowledge of local job markets, industry trends and employer expectations.
- A genuine commitment to empowering individuals and driving positive change.
- Maths and English qualifications at GCSE C/Grade 4 or Functional Skills Level 2
- Fluent in the English language
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High-level communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- IT proficient with an ability to use Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience working to quality and compliance measures
- Experience of using a learner information management systems, such as Aptem
- Experiences working within the further education/employability and skills training sector
- Information, Advice and Guidance - Level 3 or above
