Heart & Soul Community Training is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as an Employer Engagement Officer in West Bromwich/Wolverhampton.

As part of this role you will:

- Source and secure employment and work placement opportunities for customers involved in employment programmes;
- Support staff to maximise on performance and productivity.
- Seek out employment opportunities at new and existing sites of employment.
- Seek out and conduct 'cold' employer contact with a view to sourcing work opportunities, ensuring all site visits are reviewed and followed through;
- Take a proactive stance in developing relationships with a wide range of employers and referrers to build an employer and opportunity base that aligns with regional demands.
- Work closely with colleagues to generate opportunities and broker employment for individuals that are identified as job-ready;
- Provide comprehensive in work support for customers entering employment where required.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Job centres, partner organisations, employers and funding bodies;
- Maintain accurate and up to date records;
- Report regularly to your line manager on your performance.

You must have proven experience of sales/recruitment in a target driven industry, developing productive relationships with employers, partners and external agencies and also able to provide high quality employability focused assessment.

**DBS Check is required.**

This role will require regular travel across the region so you must have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Location The role will cover West Bromwich and the Black Country region as and when required.

What We Offer: Salary : Earn up to £24k, dependant on experience

3 month contract with a view of extending

Pay: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
