**Senior Administrator** to join our busy Birmingham service. Our new postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the administration team in our City Centre Hub, and local hub office procedures, ensuring the service is appropriately reflected internally and externally for its administrative support.

**Hours**:37.5hrs per week

**Salary**: £26,393 - £27,974pa dependent on experience

**About the role**:

- Line management of a team of 4 admin staff for the Rough Sleepers Project & Prison Leavers project
- Provide supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance and sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles
- Support minute taking at meetings when required
- Provide Clinical admin support when required including generation of prescriptions in the absence of admin staff
- Carry out weekly, monthly, and six-monthly Health and Safety checks for the building and keep systems for Audit up to date
- Manage maintenance requests for the service as and when required
- Ordering of stock, stationery supplies, travel bookings and oversee petty cash processes
- Provide additional administration support to ensure the smooth running of Operations across the service when needed i.e. - attend relevant meetings, facilities liaison, finance liaison, procurement team liaison
- Work closely with other senior administrators and the wider management team, maintain strong governance and monitoring systems, ensuring a consistent, high-quality service and ensure professional standards are met and best practice is implemented
- To deliver training to staff and volunteers to ensure administrative requirements and data recording within the service are maintained
- Support other sites in the absence of other senior admin, travel if needed
- Carry out admin related incident investigations when required

**About you**:

- Knowledge of the criminal justice and substance misuse treatment systems is desirable but not essential
- Educated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
- Experience of line management with the ability to lead, inspire and develop a team
- Excellent IT literacy and experience of using data management systems including proficiency in word processing, data entry, maintaining databases and familiarity with Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to chair team meetings and minute take
- Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a team but able to work alone when necessary, remaining calm under pressure
