To help them achieve this you will need to be flexible, as you are required to work shifts including bank holidays, weekends and potentialsleep ins. If your best traits are positivity, friendliness and innovation then this job is for you **Main duties and responsibilities**: To participate in the day to day implementation of the individual’s support plans and activities within a challenging environment To maintain effective communication and liaise with the service users, families and other staff members whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality To prepare meals, do cleaning and laundry duties To maintain accurate notes and records when required To work as part of a team to provide high quality care Personal care is required. **The Service** Rated Good by CQC, Oaktrees is a care home for six male service user who have a diagnosis of Autism. The service users are always out and about, they enjoy going to the local pub, trips to the zoo and local spa as well as picnics, BBQs. The service provide activities during the day **Personal Characteristics** Diploma in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards one. Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues. The ability to keep calm under pressure. The confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
