**What you’ll do**
- You will manage and motivate a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable Radio Planning and Optimisation engineers who strive to be the best in the world, helping to look after Vodafone UK’s customers in the Midland’s region.
- Engage and influence the National Planning and Design team to deliver innovations and ensure best practise, implementing global initiatives and resolving network wide performance and system level issues.
- Be part of a mindset that helps accelerates mobile network deployment ensuring that standardisation and simplification is at the heart of everything we do.
- You will build a culture of diversity as a foundation of maximising the collective knowledge, skills, and capabilities across the One Team.
- Continuously drive delivery improvements, testing of new ideas and concepts, learning fast and implementing quickly
- Be the point of escalation for all Regional Radio Planning and Optimisation, resolving blockers, aligning viewpoints, getting stuff done.
- Build strong, effective working relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders
**Who you are**
- Strong Leadership and management experience of getting the best from a high calibre team
- You will understand the core technologies, systems, processes, and legislative framework that underpin Mobile Radio Networks
- Demonstrate experience within a Telecoms environment
- The ability to establish influential, trust
- based relationships to ensure a strong ‘One Team’ ethos
