**Head of Engineering | FinTech Start-Up | London | £120,000 Base**

We have partnered with a FinTech start-up that has secured long-term investment to build upon their platform, while also growing and developing the existing team.

The result of this growth means they are now looking for a Head of Engineering to oversee the Development, Platform, and QA teams. You will also have overall ownership of the Platform, Technology Strategy, and long-term Architectural roadmap.

The company currently has around 40ppl and their system, a B2B Transaction Platform, already has paying customers utilizing and there are many more waiting to be on-aborded. You will be responsible for the teams who, over time, will make this platform scalable,fault-tolerant, and highly available. In an Open-source environment, the system is built on TypeScript, AWS & Kubernetes, and currently consists of around 60 microservices, with many to be built and others made redundant.

There is a rock-solid growth plan and over the next few years, you will grow the Engineering function significantly and you will have full autonomy over the budget.

There will be a 3-stage interview process and we are looking to quickly and efficiently through the process.

**Skills & Experience You'll Bring**:

- Clear evidence of successful senior leadership in a complex environment, and a track record of operating credibly at all levels in fast paced organization
- Experience of leading & developing technology teams.
- Experience in the same or similar role with a proven track record of driving and leading technical excellence.
- Possess hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of architecture
- Experience with solution design and architecture
- Experience of improving customer experience technologies
- Dynamic, engaging, and collaborative leader with experience of successfully leading and managing diverse teams
