Full Job Description:
Service Advisor at John Haynes Auto Technics independent Mercedes-Benz specialists.

Job Duties:
The role of Service Advisor carries important responsibilities, a large part of what you be required to do is:

- Receive instruction and training from our Service Department Manager
- Meeting and greeting customers in a courteous and friendly manner throughout the working day
- Answer incoming telephone calls, noting the details of the enquiry and when applicable filter them to the Modern Service or Classic departments.
- After training, then be compliant on our internal Garage Data Management computer system for job sheets, invoicing, monitoring work in progress and stock control.
- Booking vehicles into either the Modern Service or Classic departments
- Liaise with both workshops to keep track of the vehicles progress and ensuring the vehicle is kept on its scheduled timeline to satisfy customer expectations.
- Providing exceptional levels of customer service, including establishing customers onwards travel arrangements, providing details of company courtesy vehicles, updating customers whilst their vehicles are within our care and workshops, handing over vehicles after service and repair works are completed, establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships with customers focusing on customer satisfaction and retention
- Learning the companies sales approach regarding providing accurate vehicle service costings, repair estimates as well as other beneficial company and customer upsells all inline with the companies standard.
- Maintaining good house keeping standards and orderly administration of your work.

Other skills required for this role include:

- Customer awareness
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets
- Strong teamwork skills
- Confident and courteous communication skills
- A good memory and the ability to multi-task
- IT Literate
- Full driving licence
- Minimum of 2 years experience across any area of the automotive trade
- Mercedes Benz experience/knowledges preferred but not essential

Salary and Benefits:
Full time role
Salary £26-32k (dependant on experience)
40 hour weeks (Mon-Fri 8.30-17.30)
No weekends
29 days holiday (including bank holidays)
