Butler Rose are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to be part of a rapidly growing business based in Bicester offering a great environment to attract top talent.
This company has experienced significant growth over the last two years and even through Covid, our client has continued to thrive and expand.
This successful person will be joining a small team and reporting to the Financial Controller and working alongside other Business Heads.
This position would suit someone with a minimum of 12 months experience and studding AAT or someone who is seeking to utilise their accounts skills within an exciting and challenging role.
*This is an office based role with flexible FT hours
**Main Duties will include**
- Overall to provide comprehensive and flexible accounts processing and administrative support service within the management accounts team
- Preparing month end reports and analysis to help with the production of Management accounts
- Assisting with Cash Flows, Journals, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Quarterly VAT returns
- Purchase Ledger data entry, reconciliation of accounts to statements, resolving queries
- Work with other departments of the business to get Purchase Ledger and Customer Queries resolved as quickly as possible
- Building good relationships with Debtors and Creditors and helping to resolve their queries in a timely and professional manner
- Daily Bank Reconciliation / Monthly Payment runs
- Credit card reconciliations
- Credit control, the production of Sales Invoices, maintaining the sales ledger, sending out statements, reconciling incoming money from remittances
- Run Ageing analysis and produce credit control reports, analyse and feedback any overdue or in query
- Other Ad Hoc tasks to support all member of the finance team
**Requirements**:
- The role will be very hands-on, so passion and drive are crucial.
- Previous experience working within a Finance function with knowledge of Accounts Payable and other Ledger activities.
- Logical and analytic approach to work with a keen eye for detail and understanding the importance of deadlines
- Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business
- Experience in using Excel (e.g., sum, if, pivots, lookups)
- Sage Line 50 Experience is desirable but not essential
- Active AAT studier will be an advantage
- Self-starter
