**Job Title: Casework Coordinator**

**Location**:Location: South Wales (Hybrid; service base in Newport and regional offices, home working and community/outreach sites in Cardiff, Newport and Swansea)**

**Salary £27,423 per annum Based on 35 hours per week**

As a **Casework Co-ordinator**, you’ll support refugees across South Wales. You’ll deliver person-centred casework that helps people move into mainstream services and benefits after being granted leave to remain. You’ll work closely with local partners, manage volunteers, and make sure support is accessible and culturally sensitive. The role involves distributing emergency provisions, offering guidance on rights and entitlements, and helping people shape the services they receive. You’ll also take part in local advocacy and awareness-raising activities. Everything you do will be rooted in compassion, inclusion and professionalism, helping people feel safe, supported and empowered during a key moment in their lives.

**What will a day in the life of a Casework Coordinator involve? You'll be**:

- Supporting refugees and asylum seekers with tailored casework that meets their individual needs.
- Collaborating with local partners to ensure joined-up support and effective referral pathways.
- Distributing emergency provisions and resources in line with organisational guidance.
- Managing and mentoring volunteers to deliver high-quality, compassionate services.
- Gathering feedback from service users to improve and shape future support.
- Promoting inclusion through advocacy, awareness-raising and community engagement activities.

**What makes a successful Casework Coordinator? You’ll need**:

- Experience delivering casework support to vulnerable individuals, ideally within a migration context.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and adapt.
- Knowledge of the rights and entitlements of refugees.
- Ability to provide sensitive, empowering support to people in distress.
- Proven experience working collaboratively across agencies and building effective partnerships. Commitment to inclusive practice, with a clear understanding of safe working principles.**In return for your commitment and expertise, you’ll get**:
