Director of Corporate Communications

**Description**:
- Provide strategic communications counsel to members of UK & Ireland Leadership Team developing strong relationships with Country Manager Ireland, Head of Business Development, Head of Product and Client Directors on signature accounts.
- Play an active role in helping the team address critical business opportunities and challenges, working closely with colleagues in Marketing and Government Engagement teams to drive an aligned response.
- Develops, plan and project manages corporate communications programmes aligned to the business objectives that enhance and protect the reputation in UK & Ireland, delivering across multiple channels & audiences.
- Strong media network, confidently manages media enquiries and mitigates any risk to the company reputation. Partner with colleagues in the London-based hub Europe Corporate Communications team, and US-based global team, to feed into campaign development,influence global & European plans and tailor activity locally.
- Creates executive visibility programmes for senior executives, providing media training.
- Creates engaging written and visual content including press releases, statements, blogs, briefing documents, video, infographics and social media content.
- Supports the Senior Director, Corporate Communications, UK & Ireland in building a high performing team that collaborates on campaigns & strategies, shares best practice, develops innovative campaigns and nurtures talent.
- Responds to incoming media enquiries, escalating issues as required and drafting press releases and statements.
- As a member of the Europe Corporate Communications team, help the company respond to any major crisis by undertaking an appropriate communications role and responsibility, ensuring ability to respond out of hours in the most severe scenarios
- Manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with procurement and contract processes.
- Ensure that communications activity is measurable including reporting to demonstrate the effectiveness of campaigns using media & digital analysis and evaluation.
