Director of Corporate Communications

Talent Frame have partnered with a prestigious international law firm as they look to hire a Director of Corporate Communications. The role will encompass strategic leadership and oversight of the communications function, from leading senior stakeholder engagement and handling high level reputation and crisis scenarios, through to shaping global reputation campaigns and ensuring internal comms strategies align.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute firm wide comms strategies to drive reputation and narrative, aligned with business objectives
- Direct media relations across the full remit, from strategic media planning through to delivery
- Lead on all crises and issues comms, providing senior level strategic advice to leadership and teams
- Lead initiatives to strengthen client retention, satisfaction, and engagement across multiple regions
- Collaborate with internal teams to align corporate messaging with overall business objectives
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to inform strategic decision-making
- Represent the firm at conferences, networking events, and professional forums to elevate its profile globally
- Manage all agency and external vendor relationships across the corporate communications mix
- Lead, drive and nurture the team to foster high performance and collaboration
The Director of Corporate Communications must
- Have proven experience operating at a senior, strategic level within Corporate Communications or PR, for a global, professional services or regulated organisation
- Offer exceptional senior level stakeholder engagement expertise, able to work across regions to advise and counsel senior leadership
- Have proven experience of team leadership, mentoring and development, across multiple regions
- Have previous experience of working in a complex, global, matrixed organisation
- Show strategic capabilities - able to look at the bigger picture and shape communications programmes that contribute to achieving business objectives
- Be incredibly resilient, switched on, confident and innovative
- The hunger to roll sleeves up and get stuck in to driving the communications team
