Summary
We are seeking a part time (15 hours over two days) Support Worker to join our Riverbank Day Service in Chippenham, and support adults with learning disabilities and or autism.
Whether you are an experienced Support Worker who has worked with adults who have a learning disability, or have never worked in care before, we would like to hear from you.

**About the role**
Our Day Service works alongside customers to identify and achieve outcomes; as a Day Support Worker, you will support adults over the age of eighteen, with a learning disability, who may also have autism, communication difficulties, limited mobility, or epilepsy. Some customers accessing the service will also require support with their personal care needs.
You will work closely with colleagues to deliver outcome-focused support, using person centred approaches to set goals, review, and record achievements.
Above all we value each person being supported as an individual and ensure the support that we provide is focused on identifying and delivering positive outcomes to all, promoting well-being, choices, dignity, and independence.
We will provide full training, including the nationally recognised Care Certificate, as well as training tailored to the needs of the people you support, an in-depth and thorough induction and plenty of career development opportunities.
You will undertake a 26-week probationary period with regular meetings throughout this time to monitor progress and enable us to identify any areas that we can offer you additional support and receive regular training opportunities.
**About You**
You should be a good communicator and team player with the ability to build strong working relationships, have a good standard of education and a willingness to undertake Qualifications that include, QCF (formerly NVQ2) in care, or equivalent skills and experience is essential.
Basic IT skills are also essential as you will be expected to access training online and write reports.
