As a support worker you\'ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives, while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. Our nursing service in Chippenham is a welcoming and friendly environment, and you can be sure that no two days will be the same. You\'ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and taking part in a variety of activities. This is an amazing role for someone who wants to make a real difference and help people grow in confidence and independence to meet their goals, whether that\'s making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.ResponsibilitiesHelp people gain more independence in their daily lives and work within a supportive team.Teach life skills and assist with personal care.Encourage people to access local communities, socialise, and participate in activities.Support with activities such as shopping, walks, visits to local garden centres, hydro pool visits, or similar activities, including niche experiences as appropriate.Support individuals to build confidence and independence to achieve personal goals.Requirements / QualificationsWe\'re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values.
