**Purpose**
- Develop Project Master schedule (PMS), with level of detail, illustrating Critical Path Methodology (CPM), through the creation of activities and associated logic, duration and resource, derived from the project scope, time and cost.
- Effective communication, engagement, collaboration with key stakeholders that have a input to a schedules development and execution.
- Provide accurate project schedule progress and performance data.
- Deliver timely planning information that notifies contractor and customer of the current project schedule status and supports effective decision making
- Embed planning techniques and methodologies into the overall Project Execution Plan (PEP)
- An integral member of the Project Management Team (PMT)
- Undertaking and executing duties to the highest standard.

**Job Role and Knowledge**

**MUST BE ABLE TO GAIN UK SECURITY CLEARENCE.**

1. Responsible for developing and managing the Project Master Schedule (PMS) in line with contract specification

2. Responsible for implementation & utilisation of Cammell Laird Ship repairers and Shipbuilders planning and scheduling processes, procedures and tools, for optimised project schedule performance.

3. Review all relevant pre / post contractual documentation in support of project schedule development, execution and close-out

4. Develop project schedule in company provided planning software

5. Arrange and conduct periodic project schedule Integrated Planning Reviews (IPR’s), ensuring the highest quality and accuracy of project schedule current and forecast information

6. Arrange and conduct periodic Schedule Risk Analysis workshops as part of achieving schedule integrity, accuracy and acceptance

7. Produce periodic Schedule Risk Analysis Reports through project initiation to close-out

8. Develop & Maintain Project Schedule Risk Register.

9. Review and incorporate sub-contractor, 3rd party schedules and progress into the PMS

10. Ensure project schedule / key stakeholder alignment throughout the life cycle of the project

11. Develop and manage project schedule progress measurement system

12. Develop and manage detailed progress tracking sheets in support of project schedule activity progress accuracy

13. Produce project schedule production look ahead in line with contract requirements

14. Responsible for project schedule change management, incorporating changes into the PMS, accurately reflecting current and forecast time and cost variations from PMS baseline

15. Coordinates the collection of project schedule activity ‘actual’ progress data and updates into the Project schedule

16. Responsible for validation of project schedule activity progress

17. Produce project schedule progress and productivity Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

18. Provide planning and scheduling progress and performance information for incorporation into project progress reviews and reports

19. Develop project schedule ‘what-if scenarios’ in support of demonstrating the impact of delays and changes to contracted programme

20. Develop project schedule recovery plans as part of programme slippage mitigation

21. Produce and submit project schedule delay analyses reports to Project Management Team (PMT) for review and any actions.

22. Develop Project Schedule Recovery Plans in line with agreed revised project strategy.

23. Carry out duties in a constructive & cohesive manner ensuring accuracy of project schedule inputs/outputs

24. Assist in development of planning and scheduling process workflows and procedures in conjunction with Head of Planning (HoP)

25. Support learning and development, training & mentoring plans, improving planner competency.

26. Develop & maintain strong internal / external customer relations in support of schedule development & execution.

27. Contributes in the preparation of Project Management Documentation.

28. Participate in Project Peer Reviews.

29. Ability to travel as and when required by the company
