Our client a UK market leader in their industry is looking to expand their finance function, they have a high performing Credit team and work to continually improve processes and results. They are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded individual to come in and support the team with Credit and Sales Ledger activities.

Due to growth both in the market and through acquisition our client has an increased amount of new clients who need Credit checking and have limits and terms assessed.

Your new role

Administration of new customer account requests to include credit checking

Preparation of credit reviews for credit limit increases

Requesting trade references to support credit limit decisions

Approval of credit limits to a nominated authority level

Posting and allocating of customer payments via the internal automated cash posting software

Customer remittance verification

Daily reconciliation of credit card payments

Reduction of unallocated cash

Daily bank reconciliations and cash allocation

What you'll need

Previous experience in a Credit / Sales ledger role

Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work produced

Excellent communication and admin skills with good knowledge of MS Excel

What you'll get in return

37.5 hours a week

9 - 5.30pm Monday - Friday

Salary

£25,000 - £26,250 per annum DOE
