**Professional services company is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join them in Taunton**

As the new Marketing Assistant for this super professional services business, you will be delivering all marketing and business growth initiatives internally and externally, in alignment with the business strategy.

**You will**:

- Manage social media channels, upload content, report on engagement and perform competitor analysis online.
- Schedule content calendar and edit content for each department including case studies, news articles, thought leadership, and news.
- Co-ordinate communications, campaigns, events and charity fundraising materials.
- Work with the website designers and support to maintain the Firm’s website including news pages, campaign pages and people pages.
- Attend events including taking responsibility for photos.
- Work with line manager on the management of media relationships, including the booking and production of adverts and editorials.
- Support line manager with the drafting of press releases, where required.
- Work with teams and departments to develop promotional and corporate literature.
- Proactively contribute to the creation and maintenance of contacts i.e. external designers, printers etc.,
- Upload auction packs, marketing pdfs, profiles and other information to the website as required.

**Skills and experience**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Confident user and advocate of all forms of media including social media, SEO, and Google Analytics
- Experience of major emarketing platforms such as Mail Chimp, including managing contacts creation, distribution and follow-up to campaigns
- Possess understanding and experience of working with a CRM and lead generation
- A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills who can form good relationships and influence positively at all levels
- Exceptional organisational skills and a methodical approach to tasks in order to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines
- Possess excellent written and verbal English and a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy
- Possess capability and flexibility in juggling many projects simultaneously

A UK driving licence and regular access to a car is essential as the role will involve travel to other offices and occasional travel to external venues
