**INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINER (NETWORKS & AZURE)**

**CONTRACT**

**450 - 550PD (Outside IR35)**

**3 DAYS PER WEEK ONSITE**

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure the availability of a secure, stable and agile infrastructure that meets the Group's current and future requirements
- Manage the development and operational support of IT infrastructure systems and services across all Group sites in partnership with 3rd Party providers
- Liaise with external service providers to ensure continuity of service (WAN, ISP, Cloud services)
- Provide 3rd Level support in the event of IT infrastructure incidents
- Install or oversee installation of hardware, operating systems, utilities within the IT infrastructure environment
- Ensure documentation of build, operations (patching and monitoring policies) of the network, servers & storage environments are in place and maintained in partnership with 3rd Party providers

**Information Security**
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of an Information Security policy based on industry best practice
- Ensure compliance with Group security policies through robust IT architecture with strong resilience across all areas of the network
- Ensure that patching and anti-virus updates are carried out promptly and effectively in partnership with 3rd Party providers
- Liaise with 3rd Party infrastructure and Infosec service providers in relation to the Group's strategic direction
- Liaise with 3rd Party infrastructure service providers regarding infrastructure changes, implementations and high priority IT infrastructure and security incidents

**Essential**
- At least 5 years' experience of infrastructure support and management
- Good Knowledge of Active Directory/Group Policy
- Good Knowledge of Azure
- Experience with Server hardware, server and desktop virtualisation and networking
- Good knowledge of (Meraki) Switches, Routers, and firewalls
- Experience of SANs, Backup Systems, DR
- Security (firewall, endpoint and server security, antivirus etc)
- Experience of managing 3rd parties and 3rd party service delivery
- Self-motivated, able to take responsibility and manage priorities

**Desirable**
- Cisco Meraki networking, MessageLabs, Windows Server, HP servers, Panzura, Azure Cloud Services, Office 365, AD, Firewalls, Encryption, HyperV, SSO, VDI, GPO, MFA
- Experience of working in a professional services environment or, ideally, within an Architecture/Design environment
- Experience of working with AutoDesk/CAD tools
- Experience of Azure cloud technologies
