Network Infrastructure Engineer
to join a collaborative team working at the forefront of trading technology.

You'll play a key role in
supporting, maintaining, and enhancing
the organisation's real-time network infrastructure, while also gaining exposure to
DevOps practices
alongside highly skilled developers, testers, and senior management.

Network Infrastructure Engineer responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain a
    secure, real-time network environment
    .
  • Improve latency and optimise network performance
    for low-latency trading.
  • Drive
    network automation
    initiatives.
  • Monitor network platforms, troubleshoot systems, and perform recovery and root cause analysis.
  • Conduct
    Unix system analysis
    and scripting.
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams.
  • Ensure robust
    network security
    across all environments.

What the client requires from the Network Infrastructure Engineer:

  • Strong networking experience:
    TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
    .
  • Hands-on
    multicasting
    expertise.
  • Solid background in
    Cisco environments
    .
  • Knowledge of
    firewalls and network security
    .
  • UNIX support experience
    , ideally with scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Shell.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience working within a
    live production environment
    .
